Planning and Design
Gosforth Homes take pride in every project and the most important part is the Planning & Design. We have superb architects and structural engineers that work closely with us to bring your project to life. We make sure we are involved in all aspects of Planning and Design, making sure we see the project through from the beginning to the end.
How does Planning and Design work?
Theres an initial site survey carried out to go through the proposed development, a quote will be submitted outlining the job and costs.
All necessary planning applications/ drawings or permitted building notices will be processed for your review and then submitted on your behalf to the relevant council authority.
Guidance will be given for the process of serving Party Wall notices. We will liaise with building control ensuring all regulations are adhered to.
On acceptance of planning applications a date for commencement of works will be provided with estimated timescales for works.
Project will then start:
- Foundation and all construction work
- Installation of Roof/Frames/Lanterns & Velux’s
- Internal works – electrics/plumbing/boarding & plastering Installation of Units and Appliances if necessary
- Removal off all waste
- A site inspection will then be carried out and the hand over will be completed
